Policies

General Rules:

* For the safety of all pets and visitors, all pets are required to be on a leash (or in a carrier) when brought to the Ranch.

* Prior to participating in the social activities, dogs must be spayed/neutered and temperament tested and approved. Approved pets may have their social privileges revoked if they show excessive dominance or aggression.

Vaccinations and Medications

All pets must have current vaccination records on file with us. Your veterinarian can fax us ahead of time or you can bring vaccination records with you when you arrive.

DOGS: Annual or 3 year Rabies (depending on vet documentation), DHLPP or Distemper/Parvo (annually) and Bordatella-”Kennel Cough” (semi-annually).

CATS: Annual or 3 year Rabies (depending on vet documentation), FVRCP (annually), FELV-recommended.

NOTE: If your veterinarian’s recommendation for vaccinations differ from the above requirements-please follow your vet’s advice-they know your pet’s health best.

* We are happy to medicate your pet at no additional charge. All medication must come in a clearly marked container (preferably the original one-NO BAGGIES PLEASE). Please make sure that the container has: Pet’s name, medication name and strength, dosage per day. (Let us know at drop off what doses have been given).

* .All pets are required to be on flea prevention (such as Program, Sentinel, Frontline, Advantage, Advantix, or Revolution). All pets will be checked for fleas upon arrival.

* Tick prevention is highly recommended.

Reservations, Deposits, Check-In, Food, and Bedding

 

* All Boarding and Day-Care is by reservation only. Please call ahead to make your reservation and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. You might want to allow a few extra minutes on your first visit for paperwork and for us to meet your pet.

* Our policy is to make sure your dog is extremely happy and active while they are here at the Ranch! We will rotate your dog in and out of playgroups all day so they get the most out of their time here. You can choose for us to feed our food or you can bring your own.

* Make sure your food is labeled with pet’s name and amount to feed.

* We provide raised cots or blankets for your pet’s comfort while they are here. You may bring your pet’s personal belongings as long as they are labeled. We are not responsible for lost items.

* We are an all inclusive resort which means there is no check-in or check-out times!

* Two full days are included in each night’s stay.

* We also offer 25% off exit baths with a 3 night stay (does not include grooming).

* Deposits: Thanksgiving and Christmas-50% down with 7 day cancellation notice;

* All other holidays-50% down with a 72 hour cancellation notice.

* All deposits will be credited to your account and applied to your boarding charges.
