Policies

General Rules:

* For the safety of all pets and visitors, all pets are required to be on a leash (or in a carrier) when brought to the Ranch.

* Prior to participating in the social activities, dogs must be spayed/neutered and temperament tested and approved. Approved pets may have their social privileges revoked if they show excessive dominance or aggression.

Vaccinations and Medications

All pets must have current vaccination records on file with us. Your veterinarian may fax us the records prior to your pets’ arrival date or you can bring vaccination records with you when you arrive.

DOGS:

• Rabies (Annual or 3 year, depending on vet documentation)
• DHLPP or Distemper/Parvo (Annual or 3 year, depending on vet documentation)
• Bordatella-”Kennel Cough” (semi-annually). Some vets only give the bordatella once a year but we require it every 6 months
  

CATS:

• Rabies (depending on vet documentation)
• FVRCP (annually),
• FELV-recommended.

NOTE: If your veterinarian’s recommendation for vaccinations differ from the above requirements-please follow your vet’s advice-they know your pet’s health best. Please provide documentation from your vet if his recommendation differs from our requirements. However, bordetella is required every six months for boarding & grooming.  This is in the best interest of your pet’s health.

* We are happy to medicate your pet at no additional charge. All medication must come in a clearly marked container (preferably the original one-NO BAGGIES PLEASE). Please make sure that the container has: Pet’s name, medication name and strength, dosage per day. (Let us know at drop off what doses have been given).

* All pets are required to be on flea prevention (such as Program, Sentinel, Frontline, Advantage, Advantix, or Revolution). All pets will be checked for fleas upon arrival.

* Tick prevention is highly recommended.

Reservations, Deposits, Check-In, Food, and Bedding

 

* All Boarding and Daycamp is by reservation only. Please call ahead to make your reservation and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. You might want to allow a few extra minutes on your first visit for paperwork and for us to meet your pet.

* Our policy is to make sure your dog is extremely happy and active while they are here at the Ranch! We will rotate your dog in and out of playgroups all day so they get the most out of their time here. You can choose for us to feed our food (Precise dry Lamb and Rice) or you can bring your own.

* Make sure your food is labeled with pet’s name and amount to feed.

* We provide raised cots or blankets for your pets’ comfort while they are here. You may bring your pets’ personal belongings as long as they are labeled. We are not responsible for lost items.

* We are an all inclusive resort which means there is no check-in or check-out times!

* Two full days are included in each night’s stay.

* We offer exit baths and grooming upon request

* Deposits: We require a $50 deposit to hold reservations for 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Deposits for reservations cancelled more than 72 hours before arrival date will be credited to owners’ account. Deposits for reservations cancelled less than 72 hours before the arrival date will be forfeited.
